Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate, supervise, and monitor the implementation of Pride Community Health Organization’s programmes to ensure that results are achieved in accordance with the Organization’s Strategic Plan Objectives.
Manage a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities including developing in consultation new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Coordinate and manage Pride Community Health Organization’s resource mobilization goal to achieve significant, predictable, multi-year funding to enable flexible support for Pride Community Health Organization’s programmes
Coordinate cross program and intra program work in order to ensure coherence in Pride Community Health Organization’s programming in line with the strategic plan.
Coordinate and manage the planning and execution of Pride Community Health Organization’s capacity building strategies
Advise and make appropriate recommendations to the Head of Programmes on resource mobilization and implementation of the organization’s programmes and projects.
Ensure the timely submission of narrative progress reports of good quality to respective cooperating partners and as need arises.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Programmes.
Required Attributes, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in development studies or equivalent preferably in social sciences. A post graduate academic qualification would be an added advantage.
Experience working in the NGO sector for a minimum of five years.
Excellent communication, negotiation, supervisory, and proposal writing skills.
Proven experience in program management
Proven experience managing a team.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of project management.
