Senior Workshop Foreman 1 Position -Lusaka
Main Responsibilities

Vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and fitness approved
Supervision of routine vehicle inspections and subsequent repairs
Planning vehicle service schedules for all vehicles and equipment
Involvement in the  procurement and ordering of spare parts, tools and all necessary wares for vehicle maintenance to ensure quality of spares procured
Attending to vehicles breakdown during and after working hours, in and out of normal workstation
Supervision of delegated tasks to all technicians in the workshop
Periodic performance reviews of subordinates
Production of quality workshop reports
Maintaining and coordinating health and safety programs, including inspections and compliance activities
Ensuring good housekeeping in the workshop

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 Certificate
Must be a member of Engineering Institution of Zambia
Diploma in Automotive Mechanics/Electronics or equivalent
At least five years post-qualification experience
At least two years in a supervisory/managerial role
Knowledge of Volvo fleet mechanical and electronic systems is an added advantage
