Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Odoo IT Specialist with a strong background in accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing custom modules and applications in Python using the Odoo framework. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices as well as the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom modules and applications in Python using the Odoo framework
Work with the accounting team to identify software needs and design solutions to meet those needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Odoo modules with other business systems
Develop and maintain technical documentation for Odoo modules and applications
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Odoo modules and applications
Stay current with Odoo development trends and techniques

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
At least 3 years of experience developing custom modules and applications in Python using the Odoo framework
Strong background in accounting principles and practices
Experience working with ERP systems, specifically Odoo
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with Git or similar version control systems

Preferred:

Experience with Odoo development tools including ORM, QWeb, and XML
Experience with Odoo module development, deployment, and maintenance
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Linux operating system
