We seek to recruit a Credit officer to be responsible for credit evaluation, credit monitoring and debt collection to be based in Lusaka
Responsibilities
Evaluate loan applications requests for qualification and approval.
Identify risks, affordability and approve or reject loan requests within limit.
In-depth understanding of the credit cycle
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in signing MOU’s and debt recovery is a strong advantage.
Monitoring of existing loans to ensure timely payments and postings.
Collect money when due as per laid down policy
Collect overdue payments.
Responsible for entry and analysis of client information in the loan management system
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Credit Officer ( at least 1-2 Years)
Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
Strong analytical skills in excel
Customer service experienceDegree or Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Valid driving license is an added advantage.
