The organisation provides quality Contact Centre solutions to corporate, government and non-governmental organisations offering a variety of customer engagement services including Inbound customer queries, outbound tele-marketing promotional services and incident management services among others.
As Accountant, you will set up and maintain the Client Care Solutions financial accounts and administrative systems. You will be responsible for the accounting system, budget tracking, expenditure projections, expense monitoring and financial reporting. You will report to the Manager in-charge of finance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day accounting, including maintaining the Client Care Solutions accounts system, examining receipts and vouchers, reconciling advances, projecting and tracking expenditures and accruals;
Ensure timely monthly financial reports to management
Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
Managing income and expenditure accounts
Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct data backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Key Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate
Minimum of a degree in accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ZICA or equivalent)
3+ years’ work experience in Financial Management
Experience in a start-up and/or SME environment will be an added advantage
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
Ability to work independently
