Job brief
We are an emerging business which offers plumbing and electrical maintenance services and are looking to recruit a competent Finance and Administration Assistant to be based in Lusaka.
Responsibilities
Receive, record and schedule customer orders
Customer relationship management i.e. attending to queries, complaints, providing feedback and updates etc.
Follow up on leads and track active jobs
Prepare and send quotations and invoices
Follow up payments and issue receipts
Record company expenditure as per accounting standards
Manage human resource functions i.e. leave management, allowances etc.
Procurement of inventory and office supplies
Inventory management
Ensure compliance to all regulatory obligations i.e. ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, NCC etc.
Process payroll
Ensure that office furniture and equipment are in good order
Requirements and skills
At least 1 year proven work experience in accounting
Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection
Hands-on experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting package
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Good organizational and time-management abilities
CA Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be not older than 30 years
