Reporting to Lodge Accountant
To support the Finance Department by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing budgets maintaining reports and reporting basic book keeping and accounting duties for the organization.
Maintenance of debtors and creditors ledgers and ageing list
Maintenance of ledger books
Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
Follow ups on debtors
Ensuring timely receipting and depositing of revenue
Receives income summaries, scrutinizes them, raises the invoices and files them
Ensuring that all payment vouchers and supporting documents are filed and secured against loss
Preparing payment and receiving vouchers and updating cashbooks timely.
Maintenance of petty cash
Performs data entry
Prepares the data required for management reports
Performs any other duty as may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Full grade Twelve Certificate
Diploma in Accountancy or Level 2 ZICA, CIMA, ACCA
Knowledge in Pastel Accounting
1 -2 years’ work experience
