MIS Team Lead

Full Time

JOB PURPOSE

Custodian of entire Sales and Distribution data and maintaining regularly updated data by zones. Provide sales analysis reports to Distribution Manager and S&D Director. Ensure channel commission payments are done timely and correctly and support to zonal teams on MIS and War room support is done. Opex management and monitoring, Trade engagement and effective scheme management.

REPORTING TO THE DISTRIBUTION MANAGER, THE MAIN DUTIES ARE:

Employee Management – People management & Development;

Manage, Train, coach and develop MIS team
Ensure all performance issues for the team are raised and managed in an effective and professional manner
Maintain good and effective working relationships with cross functional teams
Ensure appraisals are completed when required for the team
Performance Management and key deliverables;

Provide All Zonal related MIS sharing in a proper frequency
Coordinate all cross functional support required by Zonal teams including war room coordination and related analytics
Track and ensure that all business continuity plans are in place
Ensure MIS team resolves issues faced by sales staff and aggregators in a timely manner
Ensure targets are set correctly and on time for all zones and communicated to all stakeholders
Tracking of trade related activities That lead to achievement of targets
Ensure all partner contracts are up to date and stored correctly
Reporting;

Ensure MIS team liaise with zonal staff and update information for timely and correct reports
Monitor execution progress against plans for any zonal initiative
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are circulated to zones and senior management i.e. USO, UAO, KYC, GA, SOGA trade activity reports
Ensure correctly and timely payments of all channel partners are done according to set SLA
Ensure all required analysis and month-end reporting by EC and group is provided in a timely manner
Maintain correct and updated database for all zones
Cost Management;

Responsible for the Opex management and maintain close track of S&D costs
Close monitoring of all processes to manage costs through business excellence
Responsible for Opex control and governance of processes
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent training in Business/Sales Management
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

At least 4 proven successful years of sales with a combination of direct and indirect sales
Exposure to the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG environment.
