With the cost of these products remaining prohibitively high for almost all off-grid households, RDG provides its products on a PAY-AS-YOU-GO (PAYG) basis. This enables the customer to spread their payments over an extended period, rather than paying cash up front. By eliminating this ‘barrier’, households across Zambia can access RDG products such as Refrigerators, Solar Water Pumps, Smartphones and Solar Home systems (SHS) to improve and empower their lives. Households that were previously forgotten, are now on the frontier of an exciting new market opportunity.

Position: Area Sales Coordinators (Productive Use Energy appliances)
Reporting to: Sales Manager.
The Area Sales Coordinator will be responsible for marketing RDG productive use energy appliances products in several new markets and consolidate all business positions in areas where we currently operate.
Tasks and activities
a. Responsible for recruiting productive use energy appliances sales agents.
b. Responsible for meeting productive use energy appliance sales Targets
c. Improving revenue through repayments
d. Managing repayments and repossessions portfolio
e. Responding to customer queries
f. New market channel expansion
g. Training & mentoring productive use energy sales agents.
h. Responsible for productive use energy appliances installations
1. Degree/ Diploma in a Business-related field OR equivalent and at least 3 years hands on experience in productive use energy sales.
2. Work experience in PayGo industry
3. Computer Skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
4. Customer Service experience.
5. Innovative and creative thinking.
6. Planning, Organizing and Prioritizing skills.
7. Able to build teams internal & external relationships.
8. Coaching & Mentoring Skills.
