Position Profile:
We are searching for a new assistant manager to join our team who is interested in helping to hire and train other team members. You will also assist in making sure the team adheres to company policies, resolving customer complaints, leading the team, and organizing the team schedule.
To be a great fit for this role you should have a consistent work history and previous experience as a senior staff member or as an assistant manager. A passion for customer service and team mentoring is also a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the technical functions in coordination with Head – Technical services of the company in relation to its business activities both current and future.
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, measuring and managing project risks.
Responsible for change management, service request and incident management.
Manage the technical team within the technical services operations.
Manage and enforce IT policies as well as manage the Business continuity plan and disaster recovery.
Provide training and mentorship to the technical members of the company.
Recruit team members and provide them with the necessary training to deliver the expectations of the technical department.
Ensure company commitments to the customer are achieved from technical compliance and SLA perspective.
Manage relationships with trade suppliers both locally and internationally.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information for appropriate and timely decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years working experience in IT industry.
Should be expertise on VMware and Hyper-V virtualization. Having a VMware VCP certification is an added advantage.
Should be expertise and hand on experience in deploying, configuring, and managing the firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points.
Should be expertise and hand on experience in installation, and configuration of Windows servers and server roles.
Experience in managing a team of IT professionals.
Experience in WAN/LAN deployments.
Proficient knowledge in storage system.
Understanding security compliance
Available on 24 x 7 x 365 days for emergency and planned support activities.
