AUDIT SENIOR x 1 – LUSAKA OFFICE
Job Description:

Carry out audits in accordance with international standards on Auditing and International financial reporting standards.
Auditor in charge on assignments.
Planning and supervising audits from pre-planning to assignment completion.
Preparation of Financial Statements and Audit files.
Preparation of Management letters and other reports.
Train Junior Staff on assignments. Reviewing subordinates working papers before partner review.
Report to Audit Managers and Supervisors.
Ensure quality as per firm policies as well as required by the quality standards.
Review of client’s tax computations on assignments. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Discussing reports on findings with client management at exit meetings.
Performance appraisal for subordinates and direct reports.
Liaising with clients and managers in the planning and conduct of assignments discussing findings, emerging risks and actions to address identified risks.
Participate in the training programs of the firm and any other duties assigned by supervisors and managers.

Education & Qualifications:

Must have a full grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Full professional qualification from a recognized professional accountancy body or institution such as, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Qualified ZICA professional.
Paid up ZICA membership.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, audit firm or fast paced working environment.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting standards (IFRSs), GAAP and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and ability to apply them.
Conversant with Caseware will be an added advantage.
