BME Zambia Ltd is looking for competent, passionate and results-driven professionals to fill the following role:

MMU Truck Operator (06) – Kansanshi Site

Reports to: Operations Foreman

Key performance Areas

Truck inspection, repairs and maintenance
Truck driving — driving safely and responsibly in all weather conditions and on all road surface conditions when delivering the product to the blasting site
Loading holes — carries out an inspection of all the holes and measures and records them to ensure that they are drilled to the correct depth
Supervising the work of the Truck Assistant

Accountability, honesty, integrity and ethical conduct
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Computer literate
Planning and organising skills
Requirements:

Full grade 12 certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence Class “C” or above
Dangerous Goods Driving Experience is an added advantage
Blasting Licence, all mining operations, would be an added advantage
Computer literacy
3 years’of driving experience and working in a similar industry
Valid SILICOSIS Medical Certificate is a must
