Develop marketing campaigns with intent of generating sales, customer acquisition to sufficiently support the attainment of sales/commercial objectives.
Manage development and implementation of marketing strategies targeting to satisfy customer needs by tailored crops solutions
Create and implement the product strategies and marketing plan and manage the range for a given portfolio to maximise profitable growth
Develop and communicate, branding, positioning, pricing framework, generic defence, and launch packages to direct & support territorial implementation
Maintain 5 year crop and product forecasts for the BA
Provide marketing arguments & support the sales team and support technical team with product life cycle management
Monitor and analyse competitor, market and channel trends and customer behaviour
Contribute to Regional meetings and strategy development
Constantly monitor marketing budget to ensure spend is within budget
Work with advertising/media agencies to identify and conceptualize campaign strategies
Develop marketing strategies to increase share of wallet at farm level
Support KAMs with developing key messages to drive SYT and SAA portfolio
Support selected distributor with selling stories for key products and marketing support material
Successfully launch Syngenta NPIs, SAS portfolio, come up with prelaunch, launch and post launch strategies which will be approved by management.
Utilize customer insights & market data to produce quality content for execution
Devise campaign timelines and schedule
Work closely with Head of Commercial (Sales &Marketing) for effective campaign execution, on schedule and on budget, and measuring the ROI
Monitor all channel outlets and evaluate creatives for campaign impact and progress, and recommend improvements where necessary
Oversea the quality of content created by copywriters and designers to ensure the brand identity is adhered to (strictly following Syngenta guidelines)
Regularly generate competitor and market data to support management decision making
Manage all marketing tools I plan, 6 th Grain, SFDC for effective campaign execution ensure quality data in inputted to the tools for good decision making.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
BSc/BA Commerce, Marketing Chartered Institute of Marketing or Equivalent , or any university Degree. MBA added advantage.
Critical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the target market, market trends, products and solutions; with an appreciation of marketing roll outs B2B and B2C
Critical Skills: Project management exposure with talent for working under pressure, first-hand knowledge of above the line , below the line and through the line campaign executions.
Critical Experience: Over 4 to 6 years experience in participation in undertaking successful/simultaneous campaigns, compelling content creation, working knowledge of the media and advertising agencies. Project management exposure is a must.
