The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/qualities:
Grade 12 school certificate
Diploma or Certificate in Food Production or relevant field
Experience in a variety of different kitchens
Proven creativity in menu planning and recipe creation
Ability to ensure meals are produced on time, and sufficient quantities are available
Thorough knowledge of food preparation and servicing
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain stock levels of all kitchen supplies
Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as required
