A Construction Company based in Zambia is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from planning, design, and conception to completion and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum 4 years of postgraduate experience in construction management, focusing on civil engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Master’s Degree in Project Management Added Advantage.
Grade 12 with 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics & English, Credit or Better
Must be a valid Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
Skills & Requirements
Manage and oversee construction projects, including site preparation, grading, roadways, utilities, buildings, and water-related structural projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Review and approve construction plans, designs, specifications, and bids ensuring compliance with local, municipal, and national regulations.
Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that work is being completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Prepare and maintain accurate project records and documentation, including project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
