Eastern Water and Sanitation Company Limited was incorporated as a private company limited by shares, under the Companies Act (Cap 388 of the Laws of Zambia) on 12th May 2008.  The Company’s mission is to effectively provide safe, adequate and affordable water supply and sanitation services with maximum efficiency to the existing and potential clients in the urban and peri-urban areas of Eastern Province.
In order to achieve its mandate Eastern Water and Sanitation Company is seeking to recruit a self-motivated, experience suitably qualified individual for the position of Commercial Manager to be based at head office in Chipata.
Commercial Manager: Reports to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities

Strategic planning and budgeting
Formulation of commercial policies and procedures,
Debt management and Revenue collections
Ensuring attainment of customer satisfaction.
Managing the activities comprising and related to commercial and billing processes in the provision of portable water and sanitation collection, pumping and treatment and disposal
Performance Management -Supervises, appraises, coaches, trains, disciplines and motivates subordinates in order to achieve departmental objectives thereby contributing to achievement of Company objectives and overall EWSC mandate.

Academic And Professional Qualifications

Grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, or its equivalent
Computer literate – fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Municipal Billing, PASTEL
Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
Five years working experience in a similar position/Role

Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams.
