Limestone Resource Limited seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced, and multi-skilled individual to fill below listed vacancy.
Credit Controller x 1
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
To ensure effective credit control through proper maintenance of customer statements and accessing customer wothiness through age analysis.
Ability or duty to report (give account of) on events, tasks, and experience.
Maintains an approved listing of all credit customers with accompanying relevant conditions of credit.
Check all sales invoices for a particular customer are posted to Dynamics Business Central System by the 1st of each month to facilitate the preparations of financial statements.
Reconciles un- invoiced dispatches every month-end.
Obtains monthly statements and submit statement and thereafter carry out reconciliations to ensure that both parties agreed monthly balances.
Collects amounts due from customers on due dates to maintain expected liquidity of operations.
Reconciles the Revenue reports with the Trial Balance.
Analyses Revenue by customer, product, quantity, and value for inclusion of figures in the management accounts monthly.
Recommends to management bad debt provisions in line with IFRS and company policy.
Analyses actual Revenue against budgeted figures.
Grade twelve(12) certificate
ZICA/CA/ACCA/CIMA Level 2
Minimum of 2 years’ experience
A member of Zambia institute of Chartered Accountant (ZICA)
