The Council of Churches (CCZ) is an ecumenical umbrella organization of Christian Churches whose vision is to be a prophetic voice with a transformative impact on the church and society through promotion of holistic ministry and human dignity.

The council is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of college principle at its College, David Livingstone College of Education (DALICE), which is a Teacher Training College in Livingstone.

Job Purpose

To manage and monitor the provision of teacher training at college level in order to produce quality teachers for Primary and Secondary Schools. The Principle is expected to manage effectively the staff and utilization of college resources in order to achieve the objectives of the institution. The Principle is also expected to ensure the promotion of christian values as provided for in the CCZ College Code of Ethics and conduct.

Qualifications

• Zambian between 35 and 50 years old.
• Have a BA, Ed or BS or B.E; a masters degree will be added advantage.
• An employee serving in the Ministry of General Education
• Atleast 5 Years of practical experience of which 2 years is at Management Level.
• Christian in good standing from CCZ memeber Church
