Position SummaryTeach For All is a global network of independent partner organizations in 61 countries around the world and a global organization working to grow collective leadership so that all children can fulfill their potential. Collective leadership requires a new set of leadership capacities – e.g., deepening awareness about ourselves and the world, building authentic relationships across lines of difference, mobilizing change in complex systems, and more.We recently launched an exciting new initiative, a Global Leadership Accelerator, to grow these leadership competencies among tens of thousands of leaders who are working to reimagine education around the world.You will join an entrepreneurial team and play a key leadership role in building the Global Leadership Accelerator in its startup years. You’ll have an opportunity to significantly shape the direction of this exciting new initiative, and accelerate the impact of incredible social entrepreneurs, teachers and other leaders around the world who are reimagining education.You will play a key role in building the foundations for this initiative, designing transformative learning experiences, launching new experiments and partnerships, and supporting the growth of leaders across a global network. You will report directly to the Head of the Global Leadership Accelerator.You have experience in the realm of leadership development, organizational development and/or designing transformative learning experiences. You have an exceptional ability to synthesize complex information and translate big ideas into practical tools and experiences that inspire action.You are able to work well with diverse stakeholders across a global network. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and can lead initiatives from ideas to execution. You are deeply passionate about bringing a new paradigm of leadership into the world and growing your own leadership in the process.ResponsibilitiesYou would be responsible for launching new leadership programs and scaling up successful efforts. Type of initiatives might include:Organizing a CEO Peer Group Coaching initiative to support senior leadersProviding leadership development support to a global community of school leadersScaling up a suite of blended learning management & leadership programsCo-creating a teacher fellowship with our Global Learning LabDesigning a new ‘systems leadership’ fellowship for policymakersDay-to-day responsibilities may include:Engaging with teams across the global network to diagnose leadership needs of key stakeholders (e.g., CEOs, senior leaders, managers, teachers, alumni)Co-designing the vision & scope for new flagship leadership development programsBuilding strategic partnerships with external partners to co-create flagship programsSetting up and leading project teams to support delivery of flagship programs, and serving as a leadership development specialist on others’ project teamsManaging delivery of programs from initial idea through execution (e.g., design, internal communications, marketing, enrollment, delivery, impact measurement)Facilitating & leading key workshops, and supporting train-the-trainer efforts to develop other facilitators, as part of our effort to build a Global Leadership FacultyExploring innovative ways to modularize and scale offerings to broaden reachCapturing impact data & stories of progress so we can continually learn & adaptContributing new ideas and perspectives to inform the broader strategic directions of the Global Leadership AcceleratorKnowledge, Skills & Abilities You demonstrate distinctive strengths in many of the qualifications below and can provide an honest self-assessment of where you would need to further grow to fully live into the role:Expertise in leadership development and/or organizational development with demonstrated experience in coaching others and/or leading teamsExpertise in designing and facilitating in-person and/or online learning experiences, including community-buildingExceptional strategic thinking abilities with proven track record of diagnosing and solving complex problems and working with ambiguityOperate with entrepreneurial spirit; able to envision and seed new opportunitiesStrong relationship management skills, with ability to influence and mobilize others while working virtually and remotely; thrive in collaborative environmentsExternal presence and judgment, with experience in building partnershipsAble to manage multiple projects in a global, fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong written communication; able to synthesize complex information into simple formats that can be easily understood and used by diverse audiencesSuperior organization and project management skills; self-starter who can manage and independently prioritize across multiple streams of workAble to work in diverse global environments with cross-cultural competence; commitment to equity and building inclusive practices and cultureCommitted to growing your own leadership & living the work yourselfCommitted to Teach For All’s purpose, vision and core valuesAt least 7-10 years of relevant professional work experienceCompensationSalary for this position is competitive and dependent on country of hire, prior work experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.Work AuthorizationCandidates for this position must possess local work authorization in order to be considered.Travel and HoursThis position is a global role and is part of a remote and globally distributed team, with other team members working across the globe. Some travel possible when it is safe to do so and in accordance with local travel guidelines.
