Driver x 1
Job Description
With minimum supervision, the job holder performs a variety of vehicle driving duties in line with the University Vehicle Usage Policy and in conjunction with other University policies and regulations.
He also ensures that vehicles and auxiliary equipment and fixtures are maintained in good working conditions and promptly reports any defects to the relevant authority.
Duties

Drive vehicles as directed by the supervisor with strict adherence to the University Vehicle Usage Policy and other related policies.
Carry out minor mechanical repairs vehicles, auxiliary equipment and fixtures.
Carry out daily check for the general condition of vehicle such as electrical systems, fuel level, tyre pressure, water level, oil level, body dents and any other damages and defects and report all defects to the supervisor.
Correctly fill in the vehicle log book before and after each trip.
Maintain the vehicle in a clean, neat and safe condition.
Ensure orderly behaviour by passengers
Monitor and implement the vehicle routine maintenance and service schedules.
Perform library management duties as directed by the supervisor and management.
Carry out other duties as directed by the supervisor and management from time to time.

Education
Grade 12 certificate and in possession of a clean Class C driver’s licence

Operations Manager x1
Responsibilities and Qualifications: The Operations Manager provides organization-wide operational support, with a wide-reaching impact across all key functions including executive, development, and finance, and manages key projects for the leadership team under the direct supervision of the Executive Director.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
Manage accounts payable
Prepare reconciliations of corporate credit accounts
Ensure accurate and timely processing of gift acknowledgements
Human Resources Management
Maintain accurate and timely benefit accrual information
Prepare salaries and transmit semi-monthly payroll reporting
Assist with ad-hoc internal finance, grant and development reporting
Systems
Participate in foundation systems training
Troubleshoot technology issues and develop/update best practice procedures
Recommend, document and follow internal processes and practices
Organizational
Serve as the first point of contact for Mercy House
Provide scheduling support to the Executive Director
Oversee general office operations including print and electronic correspondence, supply and technology management
Coordinate scheduling, logistics, materials, set-up, and follow-up for internal and external meetings
Administer vendor and building/tenant-related relationships
Hire and supervise interns and/or volunteers
Perform other duties as assigned by ED

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years of related experience
Experience with database systems and comfortable with learning, implementing and teaching use of technology
Command of MS Office programs
Experience with accounting software
