JOB DESCRIPTION – External Sales
This position is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. External sales play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
Key areas of Responsibilities and Essential duties:
Forecast sales, develop “out the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate the effectiveness.
Evaluate customers needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
Meet personal and team sales targets.
Research accounts and generate or follow through with sales leads.
Report and feedback to management on their visits to new and existing customers.
Proven sales experience.
Self motivated and driven.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Must be time driven and attention to detail orientated.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
At least 5 years Mining and Tools experience.
