CeeCee Farm is a commercial livestock farm with a focus on Pigs, Goats and Broilers.
More about the farm

Located 10 km from Kalulushi town centre, the farm uses solar and diesel power for various needs such as borehole water pumping, phone charging, lighting and TV.
Clinics and schools can be located 4 Km off of the farm.
Housing for workers is provided on the farm for up to 8 full-time workers and their families.
Generally, local people speak Bemba but will understand some local languages. Adapting to Bemba speaking is essential.

What we are looking for
1. Farm Manager (1 position)
Target: The farm currently has 200 pigs with a goal of reaching 1,000 as soon as possible. You will set your timeline.

Manage the farm resources to self-sustaining profitability
Livestock

Design and adjust feed formulation and rationing as needed
Preventing and managing diseases
Routinely maintain equipment
Sales
Biosafety

Design and maintain biosafety standards
Pest control
Design and maintain daily records and reports as needed
Lead team performance and motivate the workforce
Coordinate farm activities and keep the business owners informed at all times
Ensure all the farm needs are met and make requisitions on time
Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree from NRDC or other reputable agricultural institutions
2 or more years of experience farming Pigs and other livestock
Broiler experience is a plus
Being in employment currently is a plus

Personal Qualities

Good personal hygiene
High integrity and honesty are key
A good continuous learner and listener
Good communicator in English (speaking, reading and writing) and local languages
Bias to take action whenever issues arrive while thinking ahead to prevent potential issues

 
2. Broiler Supervisor (1 position)
Will start the broiler section from scratch after it was previously shut down.
Target: Reach 3500 (2kg) birds in 6-8 months while maintaining low mortality.

Manage the broiler section resources to self-sustaining profitability

Feeding
Preventing and managing diseases
Routinely maintain equipment
Sales
Biosafety

Design and maintain biosafety standards
Pest control
Design and maintain daily records and reports as needed
Manage shifts of Broiler personnel
Keep the business owners informed at all times
Ensure all the farm needs are met and make requisitions on time
Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree from NRDC or other reputable agricultural institutions
2 or more years of experience farming Broilers, and other livestock experience will be an advantage
Being in employment currently is a plus
