We are looking for a commercially inclined, young and vibrant experienced individual to fill the position of Farm Manager. The Farm Manager will be central to driving the growth of the farm to become a commercial operation. Key competencies and experience required of the suitable candidate are given below:
Duties:

Ensure livestock and poultry are adequately cared for
Manage and facilitate the procurement of livestock and poultry supplies
Manage the monitoring and consumption of livestock and poultry supplies
Ability to implement appropriate livestock and poultry rearing techniques to prevent disease and avoidable livestock losses
Manage, organize and supervise workers caring for livestock and Poultry
Knowledge and experience in the effective and efficient rearing of livestock and poultry is expected
Build a strong and reliable team of labourers able to aid in the sustainable and profitable rearing of livestock and poultry on the farm
Capable of managing the production of crops such as Wheat, maize, and Soya beans
Aid in operational planning of day-to-day tasks on the farms
Keep updated Financial Records

Qualifications

A minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture/Agriculture Business Management / or Animal Science, a degree will be an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license
Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a management position
Good technical, organization and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
At least 3 traceable references
