Food Technologist

Lusaka, Zambia, Full Time Negotiable

We are currently looking to hire an energetic and innovative  person to fill the position of food technologist. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Lead and oversee ongoing production of food stuffs
Support business growth through product innovation and improvement initiatives
Make product samples for internal and external customers
Development and implementation of innovative products in the food industry taking into account its cost and quality
Manage the food safety program including achieving compliance with any external standards
Providing technical expertise and support to management regarding food and beverages
Perform audits to investigate and identify concerns and areas of opportunity within the food industry.
Efficient planning scheduling and execution of a wide range of research projects of food products
Maintain recipe data base

Qualifications

Full grade 12 certificate
At least a diploma in Food science or any related course.
At least 2years experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Must possess a HACCP certification
