Lusaka Legacy Hilltop Retreat and Conference Centre is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
Assigns team members their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards
Maintains clear effective communication and coordination between housekeeping and other departments
Schedule deep cleaning projects and window cleaning where necessary
Schedule cleaning for reception areas, public restrooms, entrances, and hallways
Schedule the cleaning of all meeting rooms after a completed function
Maintain adequate records of inventory for all housekeeping related supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel
Investigate concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment’s and takes corrective action
Advises reception on the rooms ready for occupancy
Review laundry SOP periodically to ensure the latest trends are adhered to
Attend to any guest complaints and take service recovery measures if required
Submit requests for repair and periodic maintenance of cleaning equipment
Regular inspecting that rooms are made and cleaned as per SOP
Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of the entire Lodge public areas
Developing and utilizing checklists for regular cleaning and upkeep.
Diploma in Hotel Management
Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
Excellent organizational and team management skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
