We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about human resources, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an HR Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our HR team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our HR operations.
1. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job listings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
2. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
3. Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling workshops and tracking attendance.
4. Assist in benefits administration, enrollment, and responding to employee inquiries.
5. Help organize employee events and activities to foster a positive work culture.
6. Support HR team in drafting HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and policies.
7. Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR information.
8. Help organize and maintain HR files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
9. Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping as needed.
10. Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). ZIHRM membership is a plus.
Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A positive and proactive attitude.
