Rainet Logistics Zambia Limited is a logistics company located in Lusaka and has been in existence for more than 12 years. We are a transport and logistics company that specialises in road freight between South Africa, Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a dream that was birthed to address the many challenges that clients face with transporting of goods across borders.
The Company is currently expanding and increasing its fleet and will be exploring other routes in order to offer our clients a quality service.
Rainet Logistics Zambia Limited seeks to employ an experienced and qualified individual in the position of HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER to plan, organise and control all activities of the Human Resources Department within the organisation.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Interpretation of company policies, labour laws and conditions of employment and service to employees.
Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, managing the hiring process and implementing effective on – boarding plans
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Control salary administration and ensure payment of employee benefits to comply with company and statutory requirements.
Compliance with Napsa, NHIMA and Workers Compensation for all employees.
Ensure effective communications between Management and employees so that industrial harmony is maintained.
Develop training and development programs
Assist in performance management processes
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues by Conduct disciplinary case Investigations, guide Line officials and erring employees in accordance with the organisation disciplinary code.
Provide monthly reports such as headcount, recruitment, leave, attendance / absenteeism, disciplinary as required by management.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
2 – 3 years’ post qualification experience in Human Resources Management
Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Strong ethics and reliability
