AB Bank in collaboration with local insurance providers has started offering Bancassurance to its customers. As product range is increasing, the Bank is seeking to employ a qualified Insurance Officer with strong grounding in Sales and Management skills, who will be overseeing overall Bancassurance activities.
Among other responsibilities, you will be expected to:
Develop sales strategies and action plans and lead their implementation
Lead the development and deployment of insurance products and channels and integrating them into production
Determine appropriate risk appetite on new distribution and product development projects
Ensure full realization of business case for each channel and product within agreed timelines
Ensure that all Bancassurance operations and business activities are in full compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank’s internal Policies and procedures
Train, coach and mentor insurance sales staff
Prepare annual budget and targets related to Bancassurance
Prepare all Bancassurance reports for internal and external use
Any other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
Diploma in Insurance studies
5 years of Insurance sales and Management experience
Good knowledge of life and general insurance underwriting
Good IT skills, particularly MS office package
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
