LEAD FACILITATOR – Training and Coaching, Lusaka, Zambia
Our client offers team building, team alignment, training, coaching, and consulting to help organizations engineer high performance cultures and are currently looking to hire a Lead Facilitator to join their team in Lusaka. The Lead Facilitator should be someone passionate about designing and facilitating team buildings and training programs that can equip individuals and teams to work better.
Currently receiving applications of candidates with prior team building, training or facilitation experience.
Reporting To: Managing Consultant
Interacts With: Management, Staff and Clients
Facilitate training on team building, team alignment and development, leadership and management and workforce development.
Conduct Situational Analysis (SA) to establish clients pain points, session objectives and post training objectives.
Design programs and create an agenda with program flows, tools and activities to meet client objectives.
Create facilitator guides to align other facilitators on program objectives, agenda flow and their roles and responsibilities.
Ensure that the slides, materials and workbooks for the session are well prepared
Oversee communication with clients on logistics, requirements and any other critical elements of the program.
Facilitate the training on the day ensuring program objectives are met and necessary observations for the report.
Identify, prep and align co-facilitators or assistant facilitators where necessary.
Create and send proposals and quotes that detail the interventions that best fit the clients’ needs as established in the SA
Produce and submit the report to clients and conduct the workshop debrief and follow up sessions where necessary.
Provide post-retreat support to clients to ensure each team gets a strong return on investment (eg sending relevant articles, facilitating accountability check-ins 60 days post-retreat)
Coordinate and liaise with graphic designers for graphics related to programs, workshops and tools used
Weekly filing of documents like proposals, estimates, handouts and workbooks, trackers, reports etc. on Google Drive
Liaise with facilitators on availability, rates and required administrative support
Get images and summary of the session for social media content and post-retreat report.
Provide coordination, logistics, registration and note taking when supporting Lead facilitators
Research, practice, pilot and create activity cards for experiential learning games and activities to support new and existing programs
Co-create, suggest and drive interventions to promote training offerings existing clients and with potential clients in your own network.
Capture, develop and share images, testimonials and feedback for social media to showcase the impact, transformation and ROI our clients get from our work
Manage and train interns, training associates and any other consultants supporting the administration, logistics and facilitation of team building and training services to esteemed clients
Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, organisational behaviour, or business administration can be helpful. A degree in education or training can also be valuable for those interested in a career in team building
Software: MS Office; Google (Drive, Calendar, Gmail, Forms)
Knowledge Of: Strong understanding of adult learning principles
Skills To: Listening skills; Paraphrasing skills; Observation skills; Administrative skills
Ability To: Design effective and engaging learning/team building experiences for adults
