EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The new office holder would be required to have artisanal skills and be a very technical person (Electrical, Plumbing, Builder, Construction, Design and Technology)
i) He/She should possess a Grade 12 Certificate or Equivalent.
ii) He/She should be a Diploma holder, but possession of a Degree would be added advantage.
MAIN JOB TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) General infrastructure maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
b) Coordinate and supervise projects and construction within the Institution.
c) Coordinate and control the institutional transport (timely servicing, fitness, insurance and repairs of vehicles).
d) Ensures that the Institution obtains the best value from procurement of goods and services.
e) Be able to initiate requisitions for acquisition of required materials.
f) Supervise and harmonize the provision of security services within the Institution.
g) Ensure that institutional inventories are up-to date.
h) Conduct Annual Appraisal of General Workers.
i) Perform any other duties as guided from time to time.
