Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Limited is a Water Utility Company on the Copperbelt providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ a highly motivated and goal oriented professional in the position of:
MANAGER -PURCHASING AND SUPPLY
Job purpose: To plan and manage cost effective procurement and stores systems that support the attainment of company’s corporate goals.
Main Functions of the role:
To develop procurement plans and ensure that materials are available as and when required for company operations.
To review stock position and material consumption to ensure optimum maintenance of items in stock.
To ensure timely evaluation of bidding documents for capital projects/procurements.
To ensure that procurement of goods, works and services is in line with ZPPA procurement regulations.
To monitor contracts in order to ensure contractual obligations are adhered to and that delivery targets are met by contractors and suppliers.
To ensure funded projects are executed in accordance with guidelines provided by the Financer/Funder.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications:
Full Grade 12 School Certificate
Degree in Purchasing and Supply or CIPS Graduate Diploma or related field.
Masters degree in Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage
Must be a Member of The Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).
Computer Literacy.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Must be a Zambian
Relevant Experience:
Minimum Five (5) years post experience in similar position
Knowledge of Public Procurement.
