About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Market launcher to be in charge of delivering a seamless customer experience across all stages and touchpoints in the partner & customer input pick up journey and helping the company continually achieve greater efficiency, while driving higher customer satisfaction, NPS and customer retention.
This is a 6 months renewable consultant role reporting to the Director of Global partnerships based in Lusaka.
Key Responsibilities:

Operations : Identify offices, stores, call centers, suppliers and logistics partners
Legal : Support administrative procedures for business creation and development
Business and distribution development: will involve prospecting for potential clients, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities in existing markets through various go-to market channels (retailers, distributors and alternative channels) Partner with key stakeholders to support the company with conducting relevant market research to support senior leadership in decision making.
Stakeholder management: the job holder will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders in the designated country – this will include all statutory bodies, local contracted vendors and partners.
Communication: Facilitate communication between external partners and internal teams (Product, Finance, Distribution).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operation. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operation and managing a P & L Center with demonstrated success as a senior business leader working with a cross-culture team preferably in the Fast Moving & Consumer Goods or Telecom sector.
Experience in working with senior teams to develop and  execute the sales strategy of a mid-size or large corporation with operations at a country level. Extensive networks in the country will be an added advantage
Large professional network in the country.
Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity (utilization).
Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality. Integrity is Key.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
Business driven, people focused, demonstrated entrepreneurial skills with exceptional influencing skills; Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, presentation and time-management skills,
Passion for social enterprise, development of people and environmental benefits.

Compensation:
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
