Job Description

Our client, a non profit making organization providing a safe environment for women entrepreneurs to access important resources and tools for economic empowerment, seeks to engage an Impact Lead that will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of planning, monitoring and learning strategies with a particular focus on the organization’s evaluation portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop a monitoring and impact assessment framework for specific to measuring impact and outcomes resulting from the organization’s incubation, pre-acceleration and acceleration programs
Manage and coordinate impact case studies
Impact database management
Co-develop appropriate methods, tools and protocols to enhance the organization’s ability to robustly assess its contribution to short, medium and long-term change processes
Design, oversee and/or lead impact assessments as required.
Support project and programmatic design to ensure that the results framework is reflected
Develop and oversee the implementation of project and programmatic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plans, including conceptual framework, methods and tool development
Contribute to the management and reporting of project output and outcome information through a common entry point
Follow up on implementation of evaluations and evaluation recommendations to ensure the optimal use of evaluation findings by project teams and future project designs.
Consolidate the use of appropriate knowledge monitoring and evaluation tools.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 3 years
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: First Degree and preferably Master’s degree in development economics, econometrics, enterprise development or similar field
Software: Microsoft package
Equipment: Job related
Knowledge Of: Monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment and in project management and partnership
Skills To: Conducting econometric analysis and data analytics superior knowledge of best practices and current trends in large project portfolio management, monitoring and evaluation
Ability To: Working with enterprise support organizations, BDS providers, incubators and accelerators as well fund management and investor ready programs
Other Requirements: Capable of working independently as well as being an effective team player, with initiative and creativity
