International Facilities Zambia Operations Limited (IFS) is seeking motivated and suitably qualified applicants to fill the job vacancies below at our KMP Canteen First Quantum Minerals (FQM) Kansanshi Mine in Solwezi District.
1.    Senior Chef x1
Purpose of the Role

To ensure professional food preparation and presentation.
 To maintain hygienic standards in the kitchen environment.

Raw materials and Cooking
Cooking utensils and equipment

Organised, Attention to detail and Deadline driven
Integrity, Initiative and Creative

Qualifications & Experience

Recognised qualification in Catering and Hotel Management or Chef’s Degree/Diploma.
3 – 6 years food preparation experience
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
National Registration Card (NRC) and COVID -19 Certificate

2.  Executive Chef x1
Purpose of the Role

To ensure professional food preparation and presentation.
To maintain hygienic standards in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Experience 

Recognised qualification in Catering and Hotel Management or Chef’s Degree/Diploma.
3 – 6 years food preparation experience.

National Registration Card (NRC) and COVID -19 Certificate.

3. Catering Manager (1)
Purpose of the Role

To manage continuous catering production improvement initiatives
To step change the Catering processes and performance on the site to ensure sustained,  high quality and cost-effective performance and delivery against the relevant contract.
To research and drive the implementation of new practices and technologies that will reduce catering costs and improve performance.
Ensure that catering staff productivity is maximized through the continuous monitoring and trending of process and equipment improvements and effective shift management.

Qualification & Experience

Degree in hospitality/catering
Driver’s license
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related environment
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
National Registration Card (NRC) and COVID -19 Certificate

4. Stores Controller (1)
Purpose of the Role

To manage the receiving, counting, safeguarding, issuing and disposal of stock items to and from the store, ensuring that functional, Business requirements are met.
Initiate the ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levels have been reached.
Ensure that inventory is organised to facilitate accessibility and safety for those working in the store.
Plan and manage regular stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
Interact regularly with Business stakeholders to implement optimal inventory levels to balance service levels and the inventory cost to the Company.
Plan and manage the periodic physical counting program to satisfy internal control requirements.

Qualification and Experience

Minimum Diploma in Purchasing & Supply/Warehouse Management or any related field.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
National Registration Card (NRC) and COVID -19 Certificate
