Limestone Resources Limited seeks to employ a suitable qualified, experienced and multi-skilled individual to fill below listed vacancy.
PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT X 1
Reports to: Finance Manager- Reporting & Treasury
Job Overview:
Timely prepares and processes salaries and wages for all employees, maintains correct staff debtors/creditors balances and payroll accounting records for easy retrieval reference.
Accountabilities/Tasks

Processes Salaries wages for staff in order to facilitate timely and accurate payment on the due dates
Ensure electronic Pay Statements are sent.
Receives daily, payment and deduction details from Human Resources and other Departments for processing.
Prepare the Bank transfer listings before electronically sending the same to the bank for payment.
File PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA returns and ensures payments are made timely to avoid penalties and interest charges.
Prepares monthly “Labour Returns” report for timely submission by the 31st of each month.
Prepares reconciliations and analyses monthly the Total Cost by elements, PAYE, NAPSA, Staff debtors/Creditors Accounts to form a basis on which Management Accounts are based.
Maintains proper Payroll Accounting records for filling and easy retrieval and ensures that all monthly payroll input documents, payment vouchers, printed reports etc. Are properly filled to facilitate internal and external audits.
Recommends and implements improved methods of Payroll Accounting and analysis in order to provide superiors with accurate information.
Prepares correctly and timely weekly and monthly Statutory/Labour reports for outstanding payments for submission to the supervisors to provide data for financial planning.
Extract Payroll data from Payroll System (PMG) and uploads in ERP(Navision).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade twelve (12) with Five Acceptable O levels.
ZICA/CA or ACCA
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
A member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

SAFETY COORDINATOR X 1
Reports to: Head of Sustainability
Job Overview:
To ensure all installations and operations conform to domestic, mining, environmental, explosives and other related safety regulations and provide advisory service on matters of accident prevention (occupational Safety and health) and promote safety awareness.
Accountabilities/Tasks

Carries out regular plant and quarry inspections in accordance with the domestic, mining, explosives, and environmental regulations in order to ensur3e the safety of all workers and machinery
Conducts various safety training and awareness programs and ensures sufficient number of fire marshals, first aiders and assist in times of fire, injury to persons and promote safety among themselves.
Investigates all accidents, dangerous occurrences, record statements, prepares and maintain accident statistics and provides reports for the benefit of management, Mines Safety Department and Workers Compensation Fund Control Board.
Conduct Safety induction of new Employees and contractors aimed at sustaining Safety Culture and promote risk assessment to employees.
Ensure periodic serving of firefighting equipment by service provider is done and liaise with other fire organizations on new technology.
Organize and conduct regular safety meetings to review safety performance including weekly review of near-misses and safety incidents and communicate corrective/improvement actions to Employees.
Prepare and maintain plant safety management systems, procedures and instructions.
Plan and implement Safety promotion campaigns, maintaining readable and clear plant safety signage, organization of emergency drills and administration of safety recognition awards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade twelve (12) certificate
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and safety or Equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
