1. ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER (x1)
Overview:
As the Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our accommodations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service. Your role encompasses managing housekeeping, front office, and reservations departments.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry relating to this role
Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office suite
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the housekeeping, front office, and reservations teams
Maintain quality standards for guest services and housekeeping
Implement effective strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
Foster a positive and efficient work environment
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally

2. NIGHT AUDITOR (X1)
Overview:
As a Night Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing nightly operations, including reconciling daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing exceptional customer service during late hours.
Qualifications:

Diploma or higher education in Accounting or a related field
Proven experience in the hospitality industry preferably  in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and accounts
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests
Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards
Perform various administrative tasks to support hotel operations

HEAD CHEF (x1)
Overview:
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing the kitchen team, overseeing food preparation, maintaining high culinary standards, and creating innovative menus that delight our guests.
Qualifications:

Culinary, Diploma, degree or equivalent certification
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant or hotel
Creative and innovative culinary skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Craft exceptional menus and maintain food quality
Oversee kitchen operations and staff
Maintain inventory levels and control food costs
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with management to develop new culinary concepts and offerings

SOUS CHEF (x2)
Overview:
As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, and leading the culinary team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
Qualifications:

Culinary diploma, or equivalent certification relevant to the role
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and execution
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow
Maintain inventory levels and assist in cost control measures
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and enhance menu offerings

COOKS (X4)
Overview:
As a Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation in our culinary offerings.
Qualifications:

Certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary role
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring kitchen supplies are stocked
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in dishes
Contribute to menu planning and innovation under the guidance of senior chefs

CONFERENCE ATTENDANT (X1)
Overview:
As a Conference Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth operation of conferences and events hosted at our hotel. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, ensuring event setups meet guest requirements, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:

Certifications in Hospitality or related field preferred
Previous experience working as a conference attendant or in a similar role
Strong communication skills in English and other  languages
Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities
KEY Responsibilities
Assist in the setup and execution of conferences and events
Provide attentive and courteous service to event attendees
Ensure event spaces are organized and set up according to guest specifications
Collaborate with various departments to meet guest needs during events
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation in event areas

BARMEN (X3)
Overview:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while maintaining a high standard of customer service and upholding the quality and presentation of our drinks.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Certification in General Hospitality or related field preferred
Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role
Proficiency in preparing and mixing beverages
Strong communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages to guests
Ensure a clean and organized bar area at all times
Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to patrons
Maintain inventory and assist in bar stock management
Uphold compliance with health and safety standards

KITCHEN PORTER (X1)
Overview:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, supporting kitchen staff in various tasks, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our culinary operations.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Certification in General Hospitality or related field preferred
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards
Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks
Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment
Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation

Driver (X1)
Overview:
As a Driver at Gloria Inn Hotel Zambia Limited, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our guests, staff, and partners.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Valid and clean Zambian/SADC driver’s license (Minimum Class C) with knowledge of automobile maintenance
At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Driver
Thorough understanding of SADC road traffic laws and regulations
Proficient in spoken and written English

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport guests, staff, and partners to and from designated locations, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
Act as a vital point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and hospitable environment during their travels to and from our hotel.
Collaborate with various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless coordination for guest transportation needs, contributing to the overall efficiency and satisfaction of our guests’ stay.
