Job description:
Overall Job Purpose
Coordinating the Entire Receiving section for the supplies for both local and Foreign suppliers.
Specific Job Responsibility
Check goods to Manifest
Correct delivery Print Shipment Report and items label as per order
Check physical goods with delivery docket or Invoice
Quality and quantity issue Proper documentation and reporting of damages or missing consignments, if any
Create inaccuracy report.
Print Goods Receipt with location
Put away stock in report Location.
File on the K-Drive and send Paper work to Finance.
Timely inspection of goods received is important to avoid Demurrage.
Job Specific Competencies
Ensure all the outstanding shipments is up to date within the time frame
Ensure the IR’s reach out to the concerns and review on the weekly basis
Prioritise MEGA DOWN P1orders that have a direct impact to production.
Ensure full accountability for all items under the responsibility and maintainHighest possible standard of housekeeping and safety in keeping with Company Safety Rules and Standards.
Microsoft Office Package:
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
Experience with Warehouse Management Software
Experience with logistics and Warehouse Receiving practices
Knowledge of component storage and packing
General knowledge in HME spare parts and their uses
Excellent data interpretation and analysis
Should samples or Photo be taken and sent to ascertain the claim.
Make enquiries into where the lines of communication broke down.
Discuss with the procurement and logistics the potential impact Link to production for incorrect parts and shortfall delivery.

At least 3 years working in a mining related job
Proficiency in Purchase, Logistics & Inventory Control Systems
Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements of the department’s and the organization’s Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standard
ERP experience (Pronto, SAP or any other ERP system) Proficiency in Pronto desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially but not limited to Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Experience with logistics, Shipping, and Warehouse Receiving practices
Knowledge of component storage and packing
Excellent public speaking skills
General knowledge of mechanical components and their uses
General warehousing skills; added advantage with experience in receiving / dispatching
Excellent data interpretation and analysis
Good computer skills
Knowledge of basic health and safety
Any other tasks as may be delegated upon by the supervisor.
Diploma in Commerce or financial Account
3 years’ experience in a similar position desirable
Added advantage: procurement, warehousing or logistics experience
ZIPS certificate and member
CIPS Advanced Certificate (Level3) or equivalent
