JOB OPPORTUNITY AT SONSHINE SCHOOL
Sonshine School is a Christian Private Institution under Northmead Assemblies of God Church located in Olympia Park, Lusaka. We provide quality education in nursery, primary and secondary school levels.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Secondary School Science Teachers specialized mainly in the following combination:
Physics and Chemistry,
Biology and Chemistry.
With the population of over 1000 students the successful applicant is expected to be a Christian, active in the life of his or her church and willing to join an enthusiastic staff team.
Position Type:
Secondary School Science Teachers with a combination of Chemistry/Physics and Biology/Chemistry.
Closing Date: 07/03/ 2022
Responsibilities:
Teach and inspire the students in sciences
Develop lesson plans and prepares daily instruction programs
Evaluates students’ progress and provides progress reports as required
Strives to maintain professional competence
Identifies pupil needs in collaboration with other professional staff members and assists in assessing and helping pupils with school related problem.
Enforces school rules, administrative regulations and board policies.
Maintains communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interests of students.
Maintains a safe and orderly work area.
Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education
Certification by TCZ (Teaching Council of Zambia)
Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Examination Classes.
Terms: Salary, terms and conditions of employment as per contract.
