Panda Africa is looking for a Knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Poultry Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and approving poultry-agric loans to farmers and other clients across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Tasks to be performed by the Job holder will include but not limited to.
➢ Supervise the set up houses for the chicks and carry out daily checks on the housing and birds
➢ General bird management that includes ventilation, feeding, vaccination etc.
➢ Supervise litter management and feed ordering
➢ Supervise and manage members of staff
➢ Continuously improve bird management and welfare through research of current poultry practices
➢ Notify of any mortality in the first three days.
Skills and Qualifications
The candidates must have.

A full Grade 12 Certificate and a higher qualification in relevant field
2 years’ experience working in the poultry industry in Zambia
A strong interest and understanding of the Poultry System and bird welfare
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to work with minimum supervision and have excellent management skills
