Job Title: Printing Department Production Manager

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Printing Department Production Manager to oversee the operations of our Print & Signage production department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in printing management, with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving performance and efficiency. As the Printing Department Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage all aspects of the Print & Signage production department, including printing, finishing, and quality control.
– Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer deadlines and production targets.
– Monitor production workflow and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
– Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely, and troubleshoot any technical issues as needed.
– Hire, train, and supervise production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
– Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and production efficiency.
– Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the production process.
– Maintain accurate production records and reports, tracking performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
– Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in printing technology, graphic design, or related field.
– Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a printing or signage production environment.
– Strong technical knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and materials.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and printing software applications.
– Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
