The National Arts Council of Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified Zambians to fill one vacant position.
PROCUREMENT OFFICER
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to undertake the procurement of goods, services and works in order to meet the objectives and goals of the National Arts Council of Zambia
Roles and Responsibilities:

Research potential vendors
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Review quality of purchased products
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases)
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Personal Attributes:
The job holder will be expected to be mature, reliable, honest, approachable, gender sensitive and with high integrity.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:-

Minimum of Grade 12 (Form V) level of Education.
Minimum of Diploma awarded by a recognized training institution in procurement
A member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)
Relevant work experience of at least two years with knowledge of Government procurement systems
Knowledge of the Zambia Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020
