Lochey Industrial and Management Training Institute is looking for a hardworking and experienced candidate to join as a Driving Instructor.
Your main goal will be teaching the students all the required skills required for driving. As a Driving Instructor, you will be planning and preparing driving lessons on driving laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for explaining all the required techniques and offering advice to the students.
Responsibilities

Planning out all the driving lessons according RATSA requirements.
Delivering lessons on driving to the students.
Performing practical lessons.
Suggesting improvements in driving skills.
Explaining the driving procedures and techniques.
Taking dummy driving tests.
Monitoring the progress of the students.
Overseeing the practical examination.
Developing confidence of the students while driving.
 Controlling vehicles during dangerous circumstances.

Qualifications/Attributes

Grade 12 school Certificate
Work experience as a Driving Instructor or a similar position in the Education field.
A valid PSV driver’s license.
A Valid RATSA Instructors License
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Demonstrate excellent driving skills.
Ability to give clear and concise instructions.
Experience in maintaining vehicles on a regular basis.
Extraordinary ability to motivate the students.
Ability to work for a long period of time and weekends as well.
Managing time effectively.
Patient and enthusiastic individual.
