PEAS (www.peas.org.uk) is a fast-growing charity with a mission to ‘expand access to sustainably delivered quality secondary education across Africa’. We run the fastest growing network of sustainably financed secondary schools in Africa.Our ambition is to be true exemplars of quality education, and to drive improvements across the Zambian education system.We have a new school being constructed in Chinsali District- PEAS Kafula Musungu Secondary school. It is a grant aided school opening in 2022 as part the PEAS Network of schools that provides quality education for boys and girls where each child enjoys an education that unlocks their full potential.PEAS has a strict Child Protection Policy. All staff are expected to abide by this.We are looking to recruit the following subject teachers:Languages (2)Experience & Qualifications:Teachers must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia.Minimum Diploma.The preferred candidate will have secondary education teaching experienceKnowledge and understanding of child protection proceduresComputer literate with MS Word and ExcelPersonal Description:These roles requires someone with excellent spoken and written English language skills; communication skills for report writing high standards of organization and attention to detail; and strong teamwork skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to manage a busy workload. They will be committed to a high quality of work and have the shared vision and mission of the organization.Key Responsibilities:The positions will involve planning and preparation; classroom delivery of quality education, assessment and attainment, providing conducive learning environment, and active participation in extra-curricular activities.
