Job DescriptionMANDATORY:Minimum 5 years sales working experience.Succesful track record of sales.Relevant agriculture and agroforestry experienceCore Skills:Sourcing potential new customers (phone, email,Maintaining regular contact with existing customers.Developing Key Accounts (larger customers).Developing sales strategies.Maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.Meeting daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.Maintaining product brochures, marketing material and price lists.Traveling to the customer’s location to talk about our product range.Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.Composing tender documents and customer proposals and quotations.Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.Maintaining strong customer relations.Attending product training courses and seminars.Meeting sales targets.Identifying revenue enhancing opportunities.Key Skills: Highly organized and strong attention to detail is essential.Soft Skills:Demonstrating thought leadership:Identifying cost saving opportunities.Identifying revenue enhancing opportunities.Managing and leading work teams:Team management skills: Ability to create work rosters and delegate duties and supervise, manage and monitor progress of staff.HR skills: Experience with hiring, developing, and training staff.Teamwork skills: Capable of working in a group and with people (good listener, respectful, conflict management, reliable). Flexible and eager to lend a hand wherever needed, even if a specific task may fall outside the core job description.Negotiation skills: Able to network and build relationships with different professionals to complete the projects as intended. Able to work hand in hand with other professionals and negotiating with them to ensure favourable results for the program.Mindset state (soft skills): A passion/enthusiasm for delivering agroforestry products and services and desire to learn the various aspects of the agroforestry ecosystem (intelligent and eager to learn). Resourceful, hardworking, and honest. Professional and friendly character.
