Mabiza Resources Limited (“Mabiza”) operates the Munali Nickel Mine (“Munali”), which is located in the Mazabuka District, 75kms south of Lusaka, Zambia. Mabiza is a wholly-owned entity of Consolidated Nickel Mines Ltd.
The Mine is a modern, world-class facility with fully mechanized underground operations. To support this vision. Mabiza is seeking the services of an experienced and qualified individual to take up the position of:
ROLE: SECURITY CONSTABLE
Reporting: Security   Sergeant
Job Purpose:  The objective of this role is to monitor security sites /bits and coordinate security ground operations and ensure that the Company complies with Laws of Zambia and ensuring that all Security practices and standards are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:

Identifying and implementing of corrective safety measures in areas of operation.
Actively participate in safety and security meetings.
Receive instructions from the sergeants and above and work accordingly.
Own bit must appear on the Patrol Sheets.
Making sure that all employees on site have IDs and drivers/operation permits.
Basic safety and security instructions to visitors and contractors.
Must obey Security officers’ deployment plan.
Maintenance of Mabiza books such as the Permit to transport, Visitors Notification, Declaration etc.
Taking statements from suspects.
Ensuring that the work environment is Safe.
Ensure Access controls
Daily monitor and take all available actions to minimize thefts and accidents or injury.

Skills & Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate.
Must be Zambia.
At least one years’ experience in a similar role.
