Sinohydro Zambia Limited is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our innovative, fast growing company.

You will be a member of our brilliant engineering team. To be successful in this position, you should have hands on experience using CAD software, with strong attention to detail and creative problem solving ability.

Responsibilities:

As a Design Engineer you will be required to:

Design new engineering products and processes
Craft models and drawings using of products using CAD, Revit, and Lumion etc.
Research new product ideas and methods
Maintain accurate records
Write detailed design reports
Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
Requirements

Previous work experience as a Design Engineer.
Be able to carry out site planning, architectural design, road design (Road Construction drawing).
Able to use Revit, Lumion and other architectural design software.
Proven experience using CAD software 3D Road design software, knowledge of solid works is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design.
Very god oral and written communication.
Attention to detail.
Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
2-3 years’ experience of work in related field
Must be a member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia（EIZ）
