Job DescriptionThe Talent Lead acts as the first point of contact for employees and leaders in the Zambia office. The incumbent will possess deep understanding of the business needs and strategy of the practice/area; understand how to translate these needs into relevant talent initiatives and work to ensure successful implementation of key, high-touch people processes and initiatives, aligned with the business strategies.Make sure all Talent policies are followed throughout the Firm. Make sure Talent services are provided timely and effectively to the internal clients.Key Responsibilities:Co-operate with Partners to resolve people issuesMake sure all Talent policies (Recruiting, Performance Management and Learning & Development) are followed throughout the companyContribute to maintaining a positive working climate and environment.Identify improvement opportunities in HR functions following business and firm needs and initiates implementationWorking with wider Talent team to ensure consistency of approach across all groups, and across the firmBuild and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholdersManage key Talent interventions such as Talent Management, Salary Review, Performance Management process, Career DevelopmentPartner with the business to understand strategic direction and assist in developing appropriate people management strategyAct as a true change agent within the business – be prepared to deliver significant and potentially contentious change whilst retaining good relationshipsProvide insight and value around people issues, demonstrating a robust and commercial approachDeliver a cultural and operational shift within the group, leading to greater self-sufficiency in terms of use of Talent Shared Service Centre, and managers and partners taking greater responsibility for management of people issuesPeople responsibilities:Good verbal and written communication skillsAdaptable to change and can quickly transition into a professional environment and the demographics of the organizationEstablishing personal credibility – is credible in a range of complex advisory and problem-solving situations; resolves conflicts and differences through application of interpersonal skills; demonstrates high personal awareness; operates comfortably in multi-disciplinary teams and unfamiliar environmentsUnderstanding the business – influences organisational and structural changes at a service line level; demonstrates commercial awareness; makes a significant contribution to HR strategy and initiativesManaging Change – able to apply organisational diagnostic and analytical tools and techniques; contributes to scoping and leading major change projects across the businessGood project management skillsQualifications & Experience:Degree in Human Resources or equivalentMinimum of three years’ experience in a similar positionWorking knowledge of local labour lawsSound business, client, team and personal leadership skills including verbal communication and presentation skills Method of ApplicationSubmit your CV and application on company website:
