TENDER TO SUPPLY PIGLETS
TORs – SUPPLYING OF PIGLETS
Background
The Building Climate Resilient Rural Communities in Zambia Project empowers the Young people of Chikonkonkomene and Chipembi of Chisamba district through material support for various Green enterprises which includes piggery production.
Beneficiary Selection
Beneficiaries to venture into piggery production were selected by a committee which was constituted by the project team including relevant government line Ministries, traditional leadership and PIZ based on the application that were submitted. A total of 50 community members both individuals and groups were selected based on the target indicated in the approved Project Proposal.
Collaboration
The construction of the piggery units will be supervised by Camp Extension Officers under the Vetenary Department, Village Headpersons and PIZ Community Development Facilitators (CDFs). Vet staff will provide technical support in terms of design and standards of the piggery units while the Village headpersons will ensure that contributions on the part of the beneficiaries are made.

The final delivery point is Chisamba, Chipembi and Chikonkonmene Communities in Central Province.

No pending litigation status that would negatively affect this contract
