TENDER TO SUPPLY AND DELIVER GOOD QUALITY DOUBLE BED SIZE BLANKETS TO CHIKONKOMENE AND CHIKOBO COMMUNITIES IN CENTRAL PROVINCE
Background
Child sponsorship is a means of generating long term and reliable income and support for Plan’s influencing and programming strategy. It is the cornerstone on which the organization was established, and it remains the foundation from which Plan continues to operate today. Child Sponsorship is Plan’s largest source of income and support and is a key enabler of everything Plan does. Child sponsorship also guarantees Plan’s independence.
Over the last 75 years child sponsorship has adapted and evolved alongside changes to Plan’s programmatic approach and its global presence. Child sponsorship has embraced and benefited from changes in technology, with increased digitization and efficiency. Child sponsorship nurtures meaningful relationships with communities, families, children and Sponsors that enable Plan to establish long-term interventions with lasting improvements to quality of life. It is a solid foundation on which to build a global community that is aware of, involved in and united around the needs and rights of children.
During the Building Relations (BR) review for FY22 under the theme; “Moving towards excellence in sponsorship management” it was recommended that for sponsorship management to be more meaningful, the SCs need to be appreciated with something meaningful because they are very important in maintaining a very good relationship with the sponsors.
Call for Supply of High-Quality Double Bed Size Blankets to Chikonkomene and Chikobo communities in Central Province.
The Supplier should meet the following requirements:
The supplier must be able to supply and deliver to the two communities in central province a total of 2376 Pieces of High-Quality New Blankets composed of the following: Chikonkomene 1207 pieces and Chikobo 1169 pieces.
Transportation of the Blankets to Chikonkomene and Chikobo should be borne by the supplier, and any loses during the transportation should be replaced by the supplier.
