Background
The Building Climate Resilient Rural Communities in Zambia project is aimed at enhancing the capacity of communities with a particular focus on women and girls, in the rural district of Chisamba, to adapt and become resilient to the impacts of climate change. The project is targeting 3665 (2,254 young Women and 1411 young Men respectively) young people between the ages of 18 to 24 in Chikonkomene Ward. The project supported the targeted communities with green enterprises including beekeeping, fish farming, gardening, poultry and piggery. The enterprises have taken off and in full production.
Scope
Plan International Zambia wishes to procure irrigation kits for Vegetable production to be supplied and delivered in Twelve (12) Central Province Communities of Chipembi and Chikonkomene (Mpikwa, Chamuka, Choongo, Lifwambula, Mufunda, Lukoshi, Chikonkomene, Kabanga and Chunga)
